In Manipur, India, Helping Hand Children’s Home is expanding its pig farm. The work of adding space in its barn is nearly 80 percent finished, says B. T. Pousiam, president of Berean Baptist Ministries, which operates the orphanage.
The orphanage cares for 15 orphans, without any financial help or sponsorship. The orphanage’s only income comes from the Christian school that Berean Baptist Ministries also operates.
Once the barn’s expansion is completed, the orphanage will buy 10 to 15 piglets to support the orphans.
