In India, Prasad Sakile, a pastor with the New Life Regular Baptist Society of Andhra Pradesh, is teaching the gospel to children who live with their mothers in prison.

The Indian government gave Prasad permission to conduct an education service and Sunday School for the children. So Prasad organized classes for the 256 children at the Women’s Central Prison.

Every evening his team provides educational coaching, and every Sunday they teach a three-hour Sunday School.

After Sunday School, the team gives each child a snack box. In addition, every Christmas he gives the children clothes, blankets, and school supplies.

“We are getting good results from our Sunday School ministry in prison,” Prasad says. “We are transforming their lives in a good way and motivate them to know our Lord’s love.”
