Guardians and residents of Helping Hand Children’s Home in Manipur, India

B. T. Pousiam is president of Berean Baptist Ministries and Academy in Manipur, India. He sends the following ministry update.

Our ministry was established in 2005 and has partnered with Regular Baptist International since 2007. By God’s grace our ministry is functioning well with various activities.

Mission and evangelism programs. From time to time we visit local churches in our district of Manipur state, encouraging them with the gospel of Jesus Christ and conducting VBS, Bible camp, and gospel outreach.

Berean Baptist Academy. Our day school has 620 students and 25 teaching and nonteaching staff members.

Helping Hand Children’s Home. We started Helping Hand Children’s Home in 2010. Now we have 15 orphan children in the home. We run this home just by faith without sponsorship.

At Helping Hand Children’s Home we closed school classes due to COVID-19. Until the state government issues new orders, our orphan children are with us. We have started a small pig farm on our campus as a sustainable resource to support the children’s home. We bought some piglets and started rearing them. Our target is to keep more piglets and rear as many as we can.

Kindly join us in prayer for funding to buy another 15 piglets ($2,000 U.S.). Kindly pray for God’s blessings on this project.
