Pastor Jim Kester, who himself is committed to missions, invited Chris Hindal to present the GARBC 
International Ministries at his church the next to the last Sunday of his pastoral ministry. The Kesters have served First Baptist Church, Oxford, Michigan, on two separate occasions. For nearly 14 years he served as the associate pastor and then left to pastor another church. In 2002 Jim became the senior pastor at First Baptist and all totaled has served the church nearly 25 years. Chris spoke during the Sunday School hour on the influence of Gospel Literature Service in the world. During the morning worship time he challenged the congregation to individually pray for an opportunity to have a spiritual conversation in the next two weeks. He then bridged into an overview of the international partnership and showed how the Great Commission is being fulfilled throughout the world.
