Christian Wei is founder and president of Christian Way Missions, Inc., pastor of Christian Bible Church, and president of EUCON International School, all based in Saipan. He sends the following ministry update.

In this blessed season, our family would like to thank you for your kindness to pray and support us with wonderful gifts and spiritual helps. Your encouragement to us is tremendous and only in eternity we will be able to find out how much and how great of your help meant to us. We are grateful for all your love and kindness when we were facing a disaster typhoon on October 24. The Lord is able to help us through and with at least 70% recovery now.

However, the most terrible thing that we have been through, in fact, is not physical attack. It is spiritual attack. Our brothers and sisters in China are facing the most serious spiritual battle at this moment. Thousands of house churches have been raided and Bibles been burnt and Christians have been arrested. The government even order the commercial shops cannot display any decorations of Christmas. Chinese groups who have been encouraged by the government to push a movement that forces people not to celebrate Christmas. It is a cold winter indeed.

We are not afraid of giving up our lives for the Lord, but we don’t think unnecessary sacrifice is wise. Please pray for our brothers and sisters inside of China. God bless.
