“We are so glad to now meet in our completed place of worship,” says Josiah Kennedy, vice president of the Association of Fundamental Baptist Churches in Accra, Ghana.

He had been constructing Crossroads Baptist Church in Dodowa, the greater Accra region of Ghana, with financial help from a Regular Baptist International grant. The new church building can seat 150 people.

“We say a big thank-you to all of you who prayed and supported financially to see this project come to a beautiful completion,” Josiah says.

He still needs to replace the church’s sound system, which was stolen three weeks ago. However, the church has seen many blessings in its ministry. Several people have been baptized recently, two more people will be baptized this month, two families have visited the church, and many people have heard the gospel.

The church is now seeking permission from a Dodowa township school to present the gospel every week. “Please pray that this request will be granted by the authority of the school,” Josiah says. “Because of the present pandemic, many things has changed.”

“Once again, thank you for all of your prayers and financial support,” Josiah says. “We are grateful.”

Donations to Regular Baptist International furnish grants for international partnering associations. Those grants not only aid associations’ growing ministries but also assist associations after natural disasters. Donate online, by phone, or by check.
