Pastor Joshua Masaba, president of the Eastern Uganda Baptist Association, thanks Regular Baptist International donors for their generous giving. Funds donated to Regular Baptist International enabled him to give food to disadvantaged people of his community. But he says more financial help is needed.

In addition to feeding his community, Masaba is also providing food and basic necessities for 30 children and three teachers at an orphanage. When COVID-19 began spreading in his community in March, most of the 270 children living at Kayango New Image Orphanage Education Centre, which he says cares for “the spiritual and physical nurturing of vulnerable kids in this community,” were sent away to stay with caregivers. Thirty children who had nowhere to go and three teachers, who look after the children, remain at the orphanage.

The orphanage has now run out of all the resources it had raised. “We are making earnest request to all kind and loving brethren to donate funds,” Masaba says. About $500 to $2,000 can provide food, soap, firewood, and other needs.
