Wesley Chatla is a church planter with Indian Christian Bethel Baptist Gospel Fellowship. He started Bethel Baptist Church in Andhra Pradesh, India, and now sends the following letter about inaugurating a building for the church’s use.

A group of nearly 40 people gathered in the facility for a watch-night prayer meeting, comprising our believers and some pastors from our fellowship. The next day, at 11:30 a.m., my dad, Dr. Chatla Devasahayam, inaugurated the facility and dedicated it to be our church, to gather on Wednesdays and Sundays to worship and learn from God’s word. Nearly 140 people joined us to celebrate this joyous occasion.

The program stared with praise and worship songs, followed by a short message by my dad, testimony by my mom, greetings by some local pastors, and exhortation by my brother Luther Chatla and local pastors, and the final prayer by Moses Chatla. It all came to end with cake cutting and a delicious lunch. I praise God for everything and give glory to Him alone.

We are thankful for the provision of this facility and now pray that God may fill this place with people who need joy of salvation, peace, and citizenship in Heaven. We are excited to have an addition of four new members to our church.

Please join us in praying as we are in need of a few things in this new facility: full sound equipment, Roland pads, projector screen, glass podium, and sign boards outside.
