Good News Bible College and Seminary in Secunderabad, India, completed its Third Annual Good News 360 Church Leaders Conference. The school, a ministry of Good News Baptist Assembly of Secunderabad, held the conference virtually Aug. 25–28.

The conference theme, “Every Local Church as a College Classroom,” equipped church leaders and Bible students to use solid Bible study resources to teach their congregations and communities.

Billy Judson, who leads Good News Baptist Assembly, calls the conference an “incredible opportunity” to share professors’ ministry expertise with the people of India. “Equipping nationals to reach the nation, through the power of God’s Word, will transform people’s lives for His glory,” Billy says.

One glitch in the virtual conference, however, was its technical setup of using the English, Telugu, and Hindi languages simultaneously—a first-ever attempt for the conference organizers. Much work will be required to improve that technology’s use before the conference next September, Billy says.

With this conference finished, Billy is “not content to get this conference ticked as held.” Rather, he is “praying for a spiritual audit six to 12 months from now to assess its impact.”
