Ndihokubwimana Pascal is pastor and president of Community of Baptist Churches in Central Africa. He sends the following letter.

Praise God. We had a blessed church leaders’ couples conference on Sept. 26–28, and I thank you for your prayers. God is good, as 18 couples were able to attend. The conference was in the same line with our vision and objective of pastors’ and leaders’ development. It was additional to the monthly trainings we have with the pastors whereby we train them about ministry and study key Bible verses. The challenge we had was falling short in finances. Praise God you have advocated for us, and we were able to organize three days with couples for training on the family in ministry and mission, setting our minds and hearts on the Spirit, and stewardship of resources in the home.

All these will help them be model families in response to what is destroying families in our churches, will encourage them to be families serving the Lord in togetherness, and will set an example to others so that they can learn to serve the Lord together as couples.
