Haiti inlinePastor Predestin and Dave Manore of the Association of Baptists for World Evangelism had a profitable time surveying pastors last week. The hotel that is being used for Haiti Bible Institute looks like it will work well for missions teams too. Security is very good. In fact, it appears that a police official lives there. Every morning, two police vehicles were out front to pick Dave up. Food is decent, and Anderson, the owner, is willing to store tools, materials, etc., for short periods of time.

Currently Dave indicates he has funding for two houses but lacks volunteers to build them. For the first two houses, he is looking for two groups of two or three men for one week at a time. He started the foundation layout for the first house last week and will need two men to work with him in July to complete the structure. The cost would be approximately $850/person for each week plus airfare. Prior to departure, they must have passport and immunizations.
