PABWE myanmar inlineEddie Rayos is president of the Philippines Association of Baptists for World Evangelism. He sends the following letter.

It was a blessed opportunity to visit one of the new prospects for foreign missions. In partnership with Closed Door Ministries through Pastor Steve Holman, I joined in a mission survey in Myanmar Dec. 1–10 with the main goal of extending and expanding God’s work through PABWE in other parts of Asia. At the beginning of my leadership, I, together with you, as my prayer warriors, have fervently prayed for at least one additional mission field wherein the gospel be preached and would later penetrate in the hearts of lost souls, specifically to the ethnic groups in Myanmar. This is an answer to our prayers.

The 10-day visit has not only been a fun-filled fellowship with a former coworker (Steve) but a joyous encounter of believers desiring growth in their knowledge of Christ. Myanmar, though predominantly Buddhist, is very responsive in seeking the truth. Their history speaks of their strength as a country, but a call for help lies deep within. Pray for Myanmar!

They are in need of consultants in Christian education and management; trainers in various ministries (music, youth, and campus), church administration, discipleship, and church planting; tutors in English; Bible college and university teachers; career and bivocational missionaries; and businesspeople who primarily have a heart for missions.
