In the Democratic Republic of Congo, the Community of Baptist Churches of Central Africa is building two churches. One of the churches, Makedonia Church, has 63 members; the other, Betesaida Church, has 107 members.

Weekly offerings from the two congregations are partially funding the construction.

“Church members are doing their best to build, but poverty [has] limited our capacity to finish these two buildings,” says Pastor Ndiho Pascal, president of the Community of Baptist Churches of Central Africa.

These congregations are praying for funds (almost $1,400) to purchase iron sheets to finish building both churches’ walls and roofs.

Pascal asks people to pray for “this evangelistic and planting church effort.”
