DSC_0537We are so grateful to our Lord Jesus Christ for having led our association through 2013 successfully. Here is what we accomplished last year:

Evangelism: Through witnessing and open-air meetings, 1,865 people gave their lives to Jesus, 384 new converts were baptized, and 1,674 people rededicated their lives to the Lord.

Discipleship: We had 384 students attend 18 discipleship classes at 18 churches.

Planting churches: We had 30 churches, with a total of 2,364 members. We faced some challenges as we started planting new churches inDSC_0543 communities that are rigid in the Muslim faith in Uganda. Some resisted our faith, but some gave their lives to Jesus Christ, joined our churches, were baptized, and joined discipleship classes.

This year we are planning to plant a church at the unreached Siangwe village. Pray that the Lord will lead as our evangelism and church-planting team ministers in this community. And we pray that the newly planted churches will be able to purchase plots to build church structures this year.

Clubs: Each church held children’s classes for 20–35 students, with a total of 540 students attending.

Orphans: We sponsored 30 orphans, cared for in the homes of our church members, and 387 orphans attended our churches’ classes and fellowships for orphans. Among them, 12 orphans are able to teach, preach, and share the gospel effectively. Six have joined high school in 2014. We are praying that the Lord will provide their school fees and other needs.

Bible school: We have one Bible school. Eighteen pastors are students.

Thanks so much for your prayers and giving toward Bibles, airfare so I could attend the international conference, and the construction of Torofu Baptist Church. Thank you for your generous giving, which supports our ministry activities. It really encourages our team to keep serving the Lord.
