Dear Partners,

Praise the Lord!! Once again God is showing His faithfulness toward us by providing opportunities to obey Christ and His Great Commission, and share to others the worldwide scope of this command.

Partnership

Faith Baptist Church of Cuenca, Ecuador, is a church with a growing vision and passion to obey the Great Commission. On 2007, Pastor Diego Naranjo and Pastor Mario Cordero were present in a national conference where I taught about missions. On 2008, they invited me to teach and preach to their congregation. On 2009, Faith Baptist sent one member to study at Baptist Seminary of Peru, and started to pray and give offerings on behalf of this Seminary. On 2010, they are supporting one Ecuadorian Missionary and one Peruvian Missionary. On March 24 to 28, Faith Baptist will celebrate their 25 Anniversary. Please pray for them and for me as I speak on “Stewardship in the Context of the Great Commission”.

Baptist Seminary of Peru

The new academic year is starting this March 5th. So far we have 15 new students for the First Year; may God lead more of His called servants to be trained in our Seminary in Trujillo, Peru.

Another area where we need prayers is for more professors; please pray for more professors, and for Missionary James Losssing, who could not come to teach because he is facing lack of support. Encourage him by praying and writing him to: jimallossing@yahoo.com

Training Pastors

Praise the Lord on February He helped us to keep training more lay pastors. Pastor Benjamín Salinas traveled to Shatoja, San Martín, Peru to teach “Introduction to the Old Testament”. Pastor Marcelo Sangama taught the same course in Quillabamba, Cusco. Evangelist Segundo Rodriguez and Pastor Evelio Villalobos went to Requena, Loreto. Lord willing, On April 1st. to 4th, Evangelist Segundo Rodriguez and Pastor Elias Huaman will go to Iquitos to speak in an Easter Conference. Iquitos received American Missionaries 70 years ago, and there are several Baptist Churches. Now, we are seeing great opportunities to improve the training of pastors in that city, and provide theological training for lay pastors in the Amazon River area.

Further Education and Training

As many of you know, I am studying the Master of Divinity program at Calvary Baptist Theological Seminary (Lansdale, PA). Praise the Lord I have 48 credits so far. Because of my ministry in Peru, I only spend three or seven weeks each year to take courses in Lansdale; each time I went to Lansdale it was because God provided for my airfare and staying expenses. Please pray may God provide for my trip on July 2010; so far I have no indications that this trip would be possible. Thank you very much!!

In Him, Enoc Príncipe, March 3, 2010
