Bethel Baptist Church in Oskaloosa, Iowa, converted a Hy-Vee grocery store into a beautiful and functional church building. Situated on a highly traveled main road, with a ready-made parking lot and plenty of square footage, the building is positioned well to carry out the vision of Great Commission work.

Previous pastors Ron Haas and Bruce Thompson were the driving force behind this unique building program. Today Pastor Steve Cox leads this congregation with joy and passion.

Chris Hindal preached and shared the ministry of Regular Baptist International, of which he is director, on a cold Jan. 20. Though attendance was down due to the inclement weather, Chris was warmly received by the congregation. He presented Regular Baptist Press International during the Sunday School hour, preached from Psalm 145 in the morning worship service, and presented the international partnership in a service that followed.

Chris says, “Thanks, Pastor Steve, for casting the vision of global ministry.”
