Chris & Deb Hindal arrived on Tuesday evening, March 24, in Accra, Ghana. They will be ministering in Togo and Ghana for three weeks. The next morning Chris met with the pastors and leaders of the association of Baptist churches in the Volta region. This small association has 4 churches with 4 additional churches exploring the possibility of joining. Chris explained the history of the GARBC and the formation of the International Partnership of Fundamental Baptist Ministries. The session became interactive as the pastors asked questions to clarify the purpose of the partnership and the process to join. The 2 ½ hour meeting was translated into the Eva language, the preferred language of the region.
Chris & Deb were invited to participate in the weekly ABWE team meeting in Ho, Ghana, on Thursday morning, March 26th. Chris was able to explain to the missionaries the purpose of the international partnership as well as an update on Gospel Literature Services. The missionaries and churches in this area are regular recipients of RBP material through GLS.
