Fellowship of Missions is a network of mission agencies that consider themselves colaborers, not competitors. Each September, 18 member agencies come together for a two-day conference to encourage and learn from one another. The conference is preceded by a CEO retreat for the purpose of relaxation, camaraderie, and ministry interaction. Representing Regular Baptist Press International, Chris and Deb Hindal participated in both the retreat and the conference Sept. 15–19 at the Baptist Mid-Missions headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio.

Chris brought one message during the retreat, contrasting the place of Israel in God’s program with the present-day role and assignment of the church. Other speakers at the retreat included Tom Gibbons, who leads Gospel Missions of South America; Steve Brown, a chaplain for Associated Gospel Churches; and David Smith, president of Open Door Baptist Missions. Ken Spink, pastor of Berea (Ohio) Baptist Church, brought three devotional messages. Dr. Jim Tillotson, president of Faith Baptist Bible College, served as the main speaker and brought five messages on the general theme of leadership and Christians’ global assignment.

The conference included great exhortation and a challenge to excel in servant leadership and be passionate about evangelism.
