Daniels Road Baptist Church conducted its annual missions conference Feb. 15–17 using the theme “Shout the Good News.” Participants included Jonaton and Natasha Nieto, missionaries with the Association of Baptists for World Evangelism. The Nietos are training and raising support to go to the borders of Columbia, Peru, and Brazil, using aviation to extend the gospel into villages and to unreached people groups. The conference also included presentations by two local ministries, Lifeline Family Center and Verity Pregnancy and Medical Resources.

Chris Hindal, former pastor of Daniels Road Baptist, served as the keynote speaker and preacher for the weekend. Chris and his wife, Deb, serve with the General Association of Regular Baptist Churches, where Chris leads Regular Baptist International.

After Chris preached on Friday evening, the church family enjoyed cooking hot dogs over a bonfire. Saturday morning started with breakfast at the church and a video chat with Matt and Alicia Lethbridge, missionaries whom Daniels Road Baptist sent to be project managers with ABWE in Kosovo. Pastor Mike Banks led a missionary trivia game, and everyone got involved. On Saturday night Chris shared a missions challenge from Romans 10.

On Sunday the Hindals and the Nietos divided the Sunday School hour by sharing their respective ministries, and Chris preached on John 17 during the worship service. Several people made decisions about sharing the gospel and being open to God’s leading in their lives. The church family enjoyed a meal together, followed by a question and answer time with the missionaries.

The congregation supported the conference with both their attendance and their offerings. All glory goes to God.
