Warm and revved up describe Abbe Road Baptist Church, Elyria, Ohio. The new pastor, Cal Searles, will be officially installed on Sept. 7, but his enthusiasm for the community and for the revitalization of the church is contagious.
Chris Hindal, director of GARBC International Ministries participated in Sunday School and the morning worship service on Sunday, Aug. 31. People showed interest in both Gospel Literature Services and the International Partnership of Fundamental Baptist Ministries. The church is planning in a couple of weeks to receive a special offering for the ministries. The Hindals also appreciated the time spent with Pastor Cal around the dinner table.
