Southbrook Baptist Church in Wadena, Minnesota, is the fruit of Continental Baptist Missions, dating back to the 1970s. Though this small northern Minnesota town has a Lutheran stronghold, God is using Pastor Jacob Heppner, his wife, Autumn, and their three sons to help this congregation demonstrate the power of the gospel. Chris and Deb Hindal had the opportunity to share Regular Baptist International, of which Chris is director, on Sunday morning, August 7. This meeting was set up at the urging of the ladies’ missions group, which has supported Gospel Literature Services for many years. The Hindals were blessed by the hospitality of the pastor’s family and also the interaction of the congregation.
