The Planters in Partnership India Society is a church-planting ministry among the Meities tribal people in Silchar, Assam, India, and operates Northeast India Baptist Bible College and Seminary. Since its inception in 1975, the school has trained hundreds of men and women for ministry in Northeast India, Nepal, Myanmar, and surrounding areas.

I wish you all a very happy New Year.

On Dec. 11 we had a Christmas church service for children. Bible college students led the service and shared the Word of God. They also gave me the opportunity to share the gospel with the children. On Christmas Day we joined Silchar Baptist Church for its evening Christmas program. My wife, Grace, presented three songs to the audience of mostly non-Christians.

We hosted a post-Christmas program on Dec. 28 in which we shared the gospel to many unbelievers, particularly Muslims. God really gave us a wonderful opportunity. About 125 people attended the service. My wife presented three songs; people were excited because she sings Indian classical songs. Others also presented many songs. Dr. Fame Singh, director of Bibles International India Society, and Dr. Ishak Ahmed, principal of Northeast India Baptist Bible College and Seminary, shared the Word of God.

Admission at the college is under way. Pray for more new students.
