With single digit temperatures in Iowa, Director Chris Hindal expected a very small crowd at Berean Baptist Church in Pella when he presented Regular Baptist International on Sunday evening, Jan. 20. To his pleasant surprise, the auditorium was about two-thirds full. Pastor Bruce Thompson says a few regular attenders were missing, but the Sunday evening service is very well supported by this faithful congregation.

During the presentation, one lady was shocked to see a photo of her son-in-law’s father and two siblings. Her son-in-law, from Myanmar, is the son of Dr. Thang Za Mung, founder and president of an association that partners with Regular Baptist International. Two of his children have translated Regular Baptist Press Sunday School curriculum into Burmese.

Chris Hindal says, “It was a joy to share Regular Baptist International with this very interested congregation.”
