Though birthing includes pain and struggle, it brings forth a joyful beginning. Mountain Shadows Baptist Church, Pueblo West, Colo., was birthed in 2002 in a growing suburb located in the desert northwest of Pueblo. It is a vibrant congregation launching into double worship services as they pack out their small auditorium.
Chris and Deb Hindal presented the International Ministries on Sunday, July 10. Pastor Jim Mitchell and Janice of Baptist Church Planters have been joined by Steve and Joann Carter, ABWE church planters, in an effort to bring this congregation to full maturity. After the Hindals ministered, several people indicated interest in supporting both the Formula 300 shipping fund and the Haiti church rebuilding fund.
