Two missionary couples with ABWE are assisting in the church in Campo Real, Spain, near Madrid. The Clodgos and the Joneses work together to serve this congregation. Chris and Deb Hindal joined them on Sunday, May 12. Chris challenged them with the worldwide impact of Gospel Literature Services and the International Partnership (IPFBM). Many expressed appreciation as it encouraged them. The work in Spain is slow and difficult, and it helped them to see that the Lord is building His church in great ways even in unlikely places. Note the picture of the 4-year old on the worship team who strums his guitar in rhythm with the rest of the team.
The Hindals enjoyed and greatly appreciated the hospitality of missionaries, Roy and Nancy Jones. The culture of Spain shifts the day about three hours later, meaning that lunch is about 3:00 PM and the evening meal is about 10:00 PM. Spaniards go to bed around 2:00 AM. The ABWE team in Spain varies from 8-12 couples or singles.
