Alfred Marshall Adjaottor is pastor of Dansoman Baptist Church, Ghana, West Africa, affiliated with the Association of Fundamental Baptist Churches in Ghana. He sends the following letter.

Ghana Alfred_inlineCurrently I handle a baptismal class of 12 new converts, with the hope of a baptismal service in December. Recently I visited two families who have not been in church since we came to this ministry; they live in a remote suburb of Accra. My heart was moved for church planting in this area of Nsakina. As we pray about it, I see the Lord has burdened some members for the purpose. Last Friday I led a team there for the second time, praying to secure a meeting place and a parcel of land for Dansoman Baptist Church’s first outreach ministry after over 40 years. Please pray with us in this direction, if the Lord will be pleased to establish that work for His name.

Our currency has lost nearly 70 percent of its value in relation to the dollar since April. For an import-driven economy such as ours, that means an unbearable rise in living conditions. There are over 10,000 cholera cases across the country since June, resulting in over 100 deaths.
