Through the years, retired pastors have donated their libraries to Gospel Literature Services. GLS has accumulated hundreds of volumes and has periodically distributed them internationally to pastors and Bible schools. While GLS is no longer able to accept these donations, retired pastors can contact Chris Hindal, director of GARBC International Ministries, for names and addresses where these books will be put to good use.

Thanglemmoi Seldou, chairman of the association’s Christian education board, writes, “We are really thankful to you for the good books that we received from you. They are all really helpful to us as good tools.”

Among the materials were doctrine and theology books, dictionaries, and commentaries. The association had been praying that it would be able to upgrade the library at Asian Baptist Bible College, and was able to do so with the resources that GLS sent. Hope Baptist Academy, also a ministry of the New Testament Baptist Churches Association, put to use the Bible studies and other books published by Regular Baptist Press that were included in the donation.

Seldou says, “We hope these books will shape us to be a better facilitator impacting others with new and effective methods to evangelize and make disciples.”

Larque Vaye, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, Monrovia, Liberia, who is also a member of the teaching staff, presented the books to the college on behalf of Chris Hindal. The donation was the fulfillment of a promise Hindal made to the college when he visited Liberia in April 2014. The school says the resources came at a time when the college was in dire need of books and other teaching materials.
