Josiah Abedu Kennedy is vice president of the Association of Fundamental Baptist Churches in Accra, Ghana. He sends the following ministry update.

Ministering at Crossroads Baptist Fellowship here in East Legon, Ghana, has been a real blessing, though it’s also come with much challenges. In it all, we are glad that He gives strength to overcome these challenges. Attendance at church has been very encouraging; we have had two families joining our church, along with two other individuals. Soul-winning program is great. We have three people that are getting ready for baptism. Our children’s program has improved greatly because of the VBS program that was held a few months ago in some of our churches.

I personally praise the Lord for the ministry among our youth in our church; it is yielding fruits for His glory. The youth are very actively involved in all church programs. Please pray that this zeal will continue. It is my prayer that many more will be called into full-time ministry for the Lord.

The month of November is our month of missions. We teach and preach on evangelism and faith promise in all Sunday School lessons and sermons. It is our prayer that our people would be moved to give to support our missionaries. At present we have two of them.

Our ministry at Crossroads Baptist Fellowship in Dodowa has been so encouraging. The attendance has doubled since we ended Vacation Bible School a few months ago. We are taking the church through evangelism lessons for now. Praise the Lord that the challenges we used to have with many of the children’s parents have reduced. Again, thanks be to the Lord that some of the children’s parents have started attending services as well.
