The areas of Boang, Gayo, and Alas in Indonesia have been hit hard by flooding, reports Ferry Paoki of the Indonesian Baptist Ministry in Sulut. “Many people lost everything they have,” he says.

Paoki led a workshop on translating the New Testament into the Boang, Gayo, and Alas languages; however, many people were unable to attend because of the flooding in their locations. Pastor Ariston Nadeak, whom Paoki has worked with in the area that is now flooded, is “asking for help.”
