Missions Conference Is Priority for All Ages

WINTER HAVEN, Fla.—At Faith Baptist Church, the annual missions conference is given high priority and emphasis. Pastor Nathan Osborne III and Outreach Pastor Peter Brock lead the aggressive program that reaches all ages. The missions committee prepared for the conference with a children’s poster contest, with the winning posters printed on the bulletin; arranging special music; and scheduling an all-church breakfast, teen lunch, and fellowship after the evening service.

Missionaries involved in the Feb. 26–28 program were Leon Fisher, Evangelical Baptist Missions missionary to Russia; Gil and Denise Thomas, ABWE director of Good Soil Evangelism; and Chris and Deb Hindal, director of the International Ministries of the GARBC. On Saturday morning, the missionaries presented their ministries round-robin style. Chris Hindal presented Gospel Literature Services on Sunday in a combined adult Sunday School class and brought a missions challenge in the worship service.

Simultaneously to the adult schedule, a children’s missions conference was held in decorated rooms portraying each missionary’s area of interest.
