Philemon Gwelikporlusohn is pastor of Highland Hills Baptist Church, near Monrovia, Liberia. He sends the following letter:

The days of our conference are very close, Nov. 14–18, and we are preparing to host it soon. We are working on the wood, instilling the iron doors at the church, and preparing lodging for people who attend.

We are thankful to God. His blessings and provisions are upon us as we struggle to complete these tasks. It is also our joy to appreciate you all who are praying for us each day.

Please keep us in your daily prayer, that the Lord will provide the funds to complete the work before the arrival of the delegates. We are expecting 600 to 700 people.

Additionally, we have about 16 people in a baptismal class. Pray that the Lord will shine in their hearts to follow His direction through baptism and Christian living and that the testimony of Jesus Christ will be perfect in them. Pray that they will defend the faith that they stand for.

May God richly bless and keep you.

In Christ,
