Dear  Partners,

March & April were months full of opportunities to glorify God by obeying and promoting obedience to the Great Commission.  Thank you very much for working with us by your prayers and offerings!!

On March 8th, 2010 Academic Year started at Baptist Seminary of Peru.  Praise the Lord we have 16 new students plus 60 who came back to continue their training.  We praise the Lord also for Pastor Elías Huaman, who was sent by his church to minister here as Professor & Dean of Students. Also Mayra Cosamalon was invited to help in our academic office as Secretary.

On March 24-28, I had the privilege to preach in Cuenca, Ecuador during the central days of Faith Baptist Church 15th Anniversary.  Preaching on “Stewardship in the Context of the Great Commission” was well received and many decisions to be good stewards were made.

On the first week of April God used Evangelist Segundo Rodriguez and Elías Huaman in Iquitos, Peru.   Iquitos is the most important city in the Peruvian jungle; there are several churches, but they need to stretch their vision, obey the Great Commission in all its scope, and to organize well the training of new servants for the Harvest.  So we are making plans to help them.  While Segundo and Elias were in Iquitos, God helped me in Lima to speak on “Baptists and Calvinism on Salvation” to 170 pastors and brethren.  I also preached in Canto Grande Baptist Church.  Two week later, Elías Huaman spoke in the same church on “The Christian Family”.

On April 18-19, God let me visit 4 churches in Piura, Peru.  I preached there on the Great Commission, faithfulness to the Word of God, and being Light of the World.  At the end of April I spent 3 days in Chiclayo, Peru, preaching in the 35th Anniversary of Savior Baptist Church.

May is also plenty of great opportunities.  Bethel Baptist is involved with two other sister churches in a new ministry to evangelize in the universities, which are sources of humanism and moral relativism.  Praise the Lord on May 6th, we held a Conference at Cesar Vallejo University; there were more than 65 attendants and now we have the task of keep contact with them.

Segundo Rodriguez went to the rain forest a couple of times:  the first time to help a co-servant with severe familiar problems; the second time he taught “New Testament Introduction” in our Center of Training for Pastors and leaders.  Later, Segundo went to Trujillo Mountains, to encourage a couple of churches in that area; Lord willing, I will lead a group from Bethel Baptist in a missionary trip to those towns on July.  Because of responsibilities in Trujillo, this July I could not travel to Calvary Seminary to study.  Thank you for your prayers, some friends offered to pay my airfare, but other priorities will keep me working in Peru.

May God bless you all and especially all the mothers in your family and Church!!

In Him, Enoc Príncipe
