training seminar group sittingI am glad to inform you that we arrived from a teaching trip in Masisi, DR Congo. I traveled there with two young men, Pascal and Thierry, a friend from Goma town who is a medical doctor.

We went through two armed groups but were untouched. We introduced ourselves as preachers of the gospel, which gave us favor all the way. Some requested us to pray for them, and their commanders asked us to give them some of the Bibles that we had as gifts, which we did. Continue to pray that God changes their hearts through the reading of His Word.

We had 32 students, including three women. We gave out 15 Bibles—seven Kinyarwanda Bibles distributedBibles and eight Kiswahili Bibles—as well as 13 pairs of reading glasses. Several medicines were also provided, and Dr. Thierry treated a number of sick people.

Since it is a rainy season, many of the roads have been blocked by landslides, and a main bridge has been broken, making vehicles from Goma town unable to bring more supplies into the Masisi villages. Now the only way to travel there is by motorcycle.

man hammeringWe have been able to roof Burungu Baptist Church in DR Congo. The church members were so excited; we worked with them and their pastor to complete this project. They are so happy for this great provision during the rainy season.

We want you to pass our gratitude to whoever participated in supporting this project.
