A grant from Regular Baptist International is helping to complete the construction of Kabaya Baptist Church in Congo.

This church is part of the Community of Evangelical Baptist Churches of Congo, led by Bertin Mwema, a pastor.

Several years ago, Kabaya Baptist Church and its village were destroyed amid rebel fighting. Church members who took refuge in safer places later returned to Kabaya and began rebuilding the church in mid-2024. But a lack of finances put the construction at a standstill.

Bertin thanks Regular Baptist International and its donors for their support.

“Thank you very much . . . for helping us,” Bertin says. “Without you and your financial support we wouldn’t reach this far. That is why we really appreciate and value your support very much.”

“The work continues,” he adds. “God bless you.”
