Once again, we bring you Calvary greetings. Indeed, the Lord is good and prayer answering. We are excited about our new ministry car and are using it as stewards for ministry. The old one is now being used to bus the aged and other needy people to and from church when in good condition and when necessary. Thank you, once again, for allowing God to use you as a channel of blessing us in ministry. May He richly replenish your sacrifices (Heb. 6:10).

We are all well, building and bathing in ministry. Water is flouring in our area now and we have no problem baptizing the saved in Christ. We did our last baptism in the ocean four Sunday past. Praise God, He is adding to the church daily such as should be saved (Acts. 2:47)

PRAISE:
About four years ago, the First Baptist Church of Hammond, Indiana with Dr. Jack Schaap as senior pastor sent about 10 missionaries from their church to come help to plant churches in the 2nd largest city of Ghana called “KUMASI”. The Lord used me and other missionaries to help them get their resident and other relevant documents to start work. In the month of June this year, the pastor in charge, Rev. Ted Speer asked one of the first missionaries whom I knew very well among the first group by name Joshua Smith to invite me and my wife to visit with them and the church in Kumasi. Date was scheduled for three days, July 16th – 18th. Our three days visit with them was very uplifting and encouraging both to us and them. They showed special appreciation for what the Lord used me and some others to assist in their ministry.

The Lord has blessed the church plant with an average Sunday school and church attendance of about 1,500. The church has good ministries running including several Sunday school classes , REHAB for drug addicts, Bible school and an annual Pastors school and leadership conference that the home church senior pastor Dr. Jack Schaap comes with a team to handle. This years 4th annual  Pastors school and leadership conference is scheduled for Sept. 21st – 24th. I have been invited as a special guest of honor along with my wife. We are encouraged. Several pastors of the Association of Fundamental Baptist  churches have signed up to attend.

ISAAC & DEBBY’S WEDDING:
Wedding plans are prayerfully going on to come off on Saturday Sept. 18th.  Thanks for your continued prayers.

BIBLESCHOOL:
Students had one month break. 2nd year begins this month. Pastor Joseph Otchere (my brother in-law) is getting prepared to teach the LIFE OF CHRIST on Monday Sept. 6th – Friday 10th. We thank God for faithful pastors who are assisting.

ROGMA:
Our ministry of Free Bible Correspondence course is facing some challenges. (Postal mail) is giving way to ICT e-mail. Several of our students are requesting on the net involvement, if possible. Postage has become so expensive both for our office and students. Pray with us.

MINISTRY NEEDS:
There are tons of ministry needs. Our area is one of the poorest regions among the ten regions of Ghana. The need for them to be reached for Christ is paramount, hence our conviction to serve there.

Our next urgent material need is funds to complete our ministry guest house and Bible school building which is about 80% complete. We need at least $25,000 to finish it up, including furnishing to be used for missions.

If the Lord is leading you to assist with any of our ministry needs including family support for our team of church planters, the newly weds, etc, etc, you may send it through to our mission agency and mark for what purpose.
