EASTER 2009: We praise God for the message of the cross during Easter. The meaning of Easter like Christmas, has been turned into commercialism by the world. We praise the Lord for lovers of the cross who seek the opportunity to herald the message of grace especially to the many occasional Church goers. We had a wonderful Easter in our Churches. Souls were saved and several others renewed their commitments to serve. We were blessed with a visiting Guest Preacher Rev. Chris Hindal, the Director of Int. Ministries of GARBC. He spoke on Easter Sunday AM in Apam and PM in Mumford. He also challenged our Association of Fundamental Baptist Churches get-to-gather which we hosted here in Apam Government High School on Easter Monday April 13th. Attendance was 500 from about 24 Churches. My wife and I were happy to host the Hindals in our ministry home for two days

CHURCH PLANTS:

Again, we praise God for all of our Church plants. Building and battling continues. Souls are being saved and the saved are growing in GRACE and in the KNOWLEDGE of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Still embarking on our prayerful goal to continue reaching the unreached for salvation of souls and teaching them to observe all things in obedience to God to become missions oriented and self supported Church plants. Despite a whole lot of criticism about our doctrinal stand in almost all the areas of our Church plants by liberal and mushroom churches whose motto is “Doctrine divides, Love unites” people are getting saved and appreciating our stand and the Word of God.

KASOA OUTREACH:
a. The passing away of Brother Edward stretched the rest of us ministers on the Church planting team by doing weekly rotational preaching with our student pastor visiting within the week days for Payer and Bible study. This schedule has affected both the spiritual and numerical growth of the ministry a little bit. We have been using some of our potential Bible school men to be, to assist in a way as part of their training.

b. We are still worshiping in the Moslem man’s school building. No one has bought the property yet. We are prayerfully looking around and up to the Lord.
Brother Joe Arhin would be graduating from Bible School by July this year 2009. He has prayerfully considered to assist with the Church Plant in Kasoa. There’s a great need out there. The foreign missionary who was assisting with the ministry went on furlough last year June and has decided not to come back. Presently, Joe is acting as Student Pastor-in-charge of the Church plant. Joe is married with two kids. The boy is of a school going age and the little girl just about to start KG. There are some needs we want you to pray along with us for him.
