Timothy Sui Lian Mang is president of Myanmar Biblical Baptist Fellowship, Yangon, Myanmar; mission director of Revival Baptist Churches of Myanmar; and founder of Biblical School of Theology in Myanmar. He sends the following letter:

My wife and I went to Tachilik Town, East Shan State, Thailand Border, for a three-day retreat for Akha Region missionaries who work near Myanmar’s Laos and China borders. The retreat Feb. 19–21 was a great blessing to missionaries. Eight frontline missionaries and 13 local Christians attended.

From Tachilik, we went to PyinOlwin for a two-day seminar at Elim Baptist Church Feb. 23 and 24. About 60 believers attended.

On Feb. 25, we went to Taungkyi City for a two-day seminar at the Word of God Church. But a week earlier, missionary pastor Haggai Soe was in a motorbike accident; therefore, we could not have the seminar. Instead we had wonderful meetings for two nights. There were 15–20 people in attendance.

Biblical School of Theology was born on July 4, 1996 and has graduated 451 students with 97% of the graduates in different kinds of ministries. This year’s graduation had 34 graduates with the Bachelor degree, 8 students with Theology degree,  26 with the Rogma Bible Correspondence Diploma and one student with Master degree.

A three-day missions conference was held at Biblical School of Theology campus for pioneer missionaries and Bible students Feb. 26–28. There were 68 missionaries, 187 Bible students, and staff. Since last year, nine soldiers of Jesus Christ have been in mission fields as pioneer missionaries. This year 11 soldiers are ready to go out. There are now 20 soldiers of Jesus Christ who will be in the mission field. As I have mentioned before, Base Camp for soldiers of Jesus Christ is badly needed. We have a piece of land and are still awaiting funds. $500 is needed monthly for soldiers’ daily food and travel expenses for outreach. The first week of April, there will be salvation campaign at the Bible College campus; 200 people are expected. For that project, $2,300 is needed.
