God is doing great work here in Nepal. Four new converts were baptized in our church, Shalom Baptist Church, on June 28. One of those was a woman named Maili Gurung. She accepted the Lord in 2007, but, afraid of family persecution since her father is a witch doctor in the village, she was not baptized at that time. She has now decided to obey the Lord’s command of baptism.
Two men also accepted the Lord in June. Krishna Achhame is in the Nepalese Army and wants to train for the ministry and serve the Lord after his retirement.
Gracy Tamang, our daughter, was the first one dedicated to the Lord at Shalom Baptist Church.
We are doing our best in the Lord’s work. We praise God for His faithfulness and goodness through which He has done great things in our midst.
