Residents walk past fallen trees after Cyclone Mocha.
People in Myanmar are experiencing the effects not only of ongoing war but also from Cyclone Mocha.
The cyclone “destroyed many houses and left many people without proper places to shelter themselves and food to eat,” says Victor Vula, principal of Victory International School.
Please pray that “normal life returns soon to Myanmar,” he says.
Victory International School will begin its new academic year June 7.
“Since the new school building will not be ready for classrooms until the end of August this year, we will divide students into two groups, where some students will take class in the morning and others in the afternoon for the first three months,” Victor says.

Victory International School builds an addition to its school.
Please pray for this building project, as well as for consistent power in the school, Victor says.
“We continue to experience an eight-hour power cut daily. We will need better energy supply and a bigger generator which can generate over 30 air conditioners, lighting, fans, and run longer hours.”
