At Victory International School in Myanmar, students dress up as people they had learned about.
“God has been so good to Victory International School,” says Victor Vula, principal of this school in Myanmar. “We are in the final quarter of the current school year, which will end on February 20.”
The students attend monthly chapel and will participate in an annual talent show February 19. And on January 19, students enjoyed dressing up as people they had learned about in classes.
The school will hold its first high school graduation next year. “Please pray for us so that we can provide a clear solution for our students on where they can continue their college education,” Victor says.
Victor thanks people for praying for Victory International School and its students, especially amid the “ongoing, fierce warfare across the nation,” he says.
He continues to pray for stable electricity at the school. Power outages occur eight hours every day. The school installed a generator in 2022, but a larger generator will be necessary to support all of the school’s lighting, fans, and air conditioners.
However, the school is grateful that it was able to build more classrooms. Victor is now hoping to renovate the original classrooms and add a playground and a parking lot. Vacant land next to the school is now available, he says. He is praying that the school can afford to pay for that land to add the playground and parking lot.
