Prasad Sakile, a pastor with the New Life Regular Baptist Society, Andhra Pradesh, India, is grateful for a Regular Baptist International grant that helped flood victims.“With your help and some local contributions we [gave] great help to our suffered people,” Prasad says.
With the grant, he purchased rice bags, mats, daily necessities, and Bibles to distribute to flood victims in fishing villages.
The people in these villages are very poor; 80 percent are uneducated. They are also “living under superstitious beliefs and praise rocks to solve their problems,” Prasad says. He has been sharing the gospel in this area for 25 years.
“I am always thankful to our Regular Baptist International grant committee for their kindness and willingness to extend help to support us.”
