The Fundamental Baptist Women eighth annual conference started on Sunday night with call for Christian women to be committed to the home, church and the nation. Delivering the opening message at the Jake Memorial Baptist College campus, Rev. G. Larque Vaye the host pastor, called on the women to be good examples to their children, husband and the home. During the opening service, Sister Roseline Vaye, president of the Montserrado region welcomed the women to Monrovia and challenged them to work together in making the conference a success.
Earlier on Saturday, women leaders from the various Fundamental Baptist Churches in the country converged at the college campus for a one day leadership seminar.
Teachers from the Jake Memorial Baptist College presented lessons on Christian leadership, teaching technique and lesson planning.
The conference continues today with several activities including teaching sessions and evening service.
