Timothy Sui Lian Mang is president of Myanmar Biblical Baptist Fellowship in Yangon, Myanmar, and founded Biblical School of Theology in Myanmar in 1996.

In the first month of 2012, God opened a new mission field in Kaya State in Myanmar. We could plant two small local churches there. There is a great hope for us to plant more churches and to win more souls in Kaya State.

We had missionary conference Jan. 23–26 at Chaungtha Beach; 43 missionaries came from six states. It was a great time of sharing with each other what the Lord has done in our mission fields, and we studied leadership in the mission field.

On Jan. 29, we had a second Yangon Area Biblical Churches Combined Worship Service at our Bible college with 358  people from our 12 churches; 99 percent of the people were new converts from Buddism. We had a wonderful worship service with singing and preaching. After that, we had a meal.

I visited a house church in Pegu City, where our missionary Lai Bawi works. Five years ago there were no Christians at all, and now there are 18 adult believers. The day I visited, one adult was baptized. There is great growth in that church.
