Joseph Akakpo ministers with the Association des Eglises Baptistes Bibliques du Togo, an IPFBM partner in Togo, West Africa. He sends the following letter:
We had a wonderful trip to Blifou for a youth seminar last Saturday. Instead of four churches, youths from five churches (Kouma-Konda, Blifou, Agotime-Todzi, Kpime-Todzi, and Tsadome) attended. The reception of the lessons was good with many decisions made. All our lessons focused on “Why Wait,” total abstinence, with lots of illustrations to make the lessons go through.
I am praying for brother Bernard Abinor, a young, dynamic married man in the Lomnava church, to be the pastor. He is among the five men with whom I am working in the church, and he saw the beginning of the church. He gave a challenging sermon last Sunday as I sat to listen to God speak to me. So please pray for him and the church’s independence in the first quarter of 2015.
Pray without ceasing.
