He went to be with the Lord on July 21, 2007. His memorial service was done on August 3, 2007. From Biblical School of Theology, eight Bible teachers went there for his memorial service. When we started singing, people came to see us and Pastor David Awi preached the gospel. 89 nonchristians came and listened the message.

Although it is very hard to reach the unreached people group, one or two persons are converted almost every month through our missionaries’ ministry.

(3) Missionary Richard Hai Kheng:

During this month of August, he won his neighbour with the whole family. The man has practiced sorcery for a couple of years. Through sorcery, he made money. As the gospel is powerful, this man’s heart was broken after hearing the gospel for more than 10 times from missionary Richard. He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and Lord. And his whole family accepted Jesus as their personal Savior. He burned up all of his sorcery books. The people who know him were astonished, and they got angry upon missionr Richard. After conversion, as he no longer practices sorcery, they have no income any more. Very hard for them. That is also a big temptation for them. The church in Yangon also sends some financial help for this family.

We teach:

  1. Biblical Principles of Finance
  2. Spiritual Leadership
  3. Those who are on Ministry Field
  4. Faith Promise Giving

These pastors are from rural areas. They love the Lord and they work hard for the ministry of the Lord. Daily we study the Bible and pray together. We set goals also. It was a wonderful conference. We plan to have this kind of Conference in Yangon in 2008. Pastors need refreshment really.

Needs and Prayer requests:

1. Pray for church buildings.

  • For Revival Baptist Church in Hakha
  • For Revival Baptist Church at Angteng Village
  • For Thahciat church

2. Pray for a motor bike for missionary Lai Bawi Thang.

3. Pray for God’s protection. The situation right now is worse than before. We do need God’s wisdom to handle the ministry.

4. Pray for our pastors and missionaries whose monthly support is insufficient. That they may stand for the Lord faithfully and their needs will be met by God in His way.

Yours in His vineyard,

Timothy Sui Lian Mang

A bondservant of Jesus Christ
