Timothy Sui Lian Mang sends the following letter regarding May ministry highlights. He is president of Myanmar Biblical Baptist Fellowship, Yangon, Myanmar; mission director of Revival Baptist Churches of Myanmar; and founder of Biblical School of Theology in Myanmar.

God works all the time in His way. I have seen the Word of God work in our Myanmar ministry.

Falam Chin Bible Translation Workshop
My Falam Chin New Testament was dedicated late in 2009, and now I have been workingtranslation 6 12 13 on the Old Testament. Nine books of the Old Testament, such as Pentateuch, Proverbs, Ecclesiasts, Song of Solomon, and Lamentations, have been completed and checked by consultants. My Falam Chin people are hungry for the Word of God, so I want to finish as soon as possible the whole Old Testament into Falam Chin. Since consultants were not able to come to Myanmar, I went to India, Assam State at Palaipool. We worked on the book of Psalms from May 1 to 19, and by His grace we finished the whole book of Psalms. My goal is to finish the whole Old Testament by the end of 2015.

Pastors’ Kids Conference
My son had a vision for a pastors’ kids conference. We invited pastors’ kids, and 38 pastors’ children came to Falam Revival Baptist Church. Soldiers of Jesus Christ led a three-day conference. I was also with them, and I spoke the last evening. They had a full three-day, three-evening conference. It was a life-changing conference. The children confessed and dedicated their lives for the ministry of the Lord. The children said that they need that kind of conference every year.

Bible College Ministry
Summer soul-winning outreach: Our Bible college students and faculty went out to different states, towns, and villages and did evangelism outreach. We could reach 230 towns and villages, 8 states, and 7,139 people. As a result, 429 persons accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord, and 89 persons were baptized. Soldiers of Jesus Christ went out to very difficult places like Kaya State, Tanintari Division. I always give thanks to God for those committed Bible students and faculty members.

Bible college reopening: We reopened our Bible college academic year on June 4, and there are 125 students: 32 first-year students, 34 second-year students, 33 third-year students, 23 fourth-year students, and 3 master students. A soldiers of Jesus Christ team conducted a wonderful evangelistic crusade for new students. Next week we plan to have three crusades for all the students.

Eight new missionaries: Eight soldiers of Jesus Christ who completed Bible college are now reastudent missionaries 6 12 13dy to enter into a battle (mission) field. They will be sent to five different mission fields. Each one needs $80 for daily food and house rent. These young people are committed to the ministry. They are wholehearted Christians.

I believe in partnership in missions. Because of your financial support, all these activities have happened here in Myanmar.

Yours in His vineyard,
