G. Boopalan is pastor of Grace Baptist Church, Tamil Nadu, India. He sends the following letter:
We want to thank you for praying for us and remembering us regarding the church construction venture that we have undertaken in Kothamangalam Village of the Vellore District.
We are striving to keep up the work, but there is no money and materials to complete this 
church building. We need to construct walls and a roof, and lots of materials are needed. We challenged our people to pray and to become involved in this construction work. This is a big step in faith.
You may know we are ministering to the poor in interior villages in the Vellore District of Tamil Nadu. The majority of our people are in poverty, yet they have zeal and love the Lord.
We are in need of your prayers as our partners, but if the Lord leads any of our likeminded churches to help financially, we would appreciate it very much.
I’m going to use some of my savings, and the church has a project or two that will raise funds, but only God knows where the balance is going to come from. The amount needed to complete the building is down to $16,500.
We humbly request that you kindly uphold this construction work in prayer. Pray that our dear Lord Jesus may provide all the necessary materials to complete it, and that He will help us to trust and depend on His promises.
